Etsy
If you're creating a new ecommerce website and are already selling on Etsy, you can import your Etsy listings into ShopWired using ShopWired's product import system.
In addition to the guidance in this article for importing products, ShopWired strongly recommends that you use the help guides in the getting started section to successfully create and launch your website with ShopWired.
The steps to migrate product data from Etsy to ShopWired are:
- Export your data from Etsy
- Modify the data into ShopWired's required format
- Upload the data into ShopWired
Export your data from Etsy
Etsy has its own export system which allows you to download your product data into a spreadsheet (CSV) file. The process for downloading product data is described here in the Download shop data section.
Product variations / options
Unfortunately, Etsy's data export does not include information about variations/options. If your products have variations like sizes or colours, you will need to add this information to the ShopWired products manually.
ShopWired recommends adding the variation information once you've imported the products into ShopWired. You can create variations for each product, one-by-one, when editing the product (read here for details) or alternatively using the product import/export system.
Modifying your Etsy data for import into ShopWired
ShopWired has a specific format for importing product data. To import your Etsy data into ShopWired, you'll need to modify it so that it fits into this specific format.

Syncing stock between Etsy and ShopWired
Once you've imported your data, we'd recommend that you use the Veeqo app on ShopWired to sync stock automatically between ShopWired and Etsy.
