BigCartel
You can use ShopWired's import systems to migrate product data from BigCartel to ShopWired.
To perform a migration of product data, you'll need to follow these steps:
- Download a JSON export of the data from BigCartel
- Convert the JSON export into a CSV file
- Modify the data into ShopWired's required format
- Upload the data into ShopWired

Migrating category data
Migrating category data
BigCartel does not have a native feature for exporting categories, and so you can't automatically migrate all of your category data from BigCartel into ShopWired
However, the category(s) assigned to products are included in the product export, and therefore when importing your products, ShopWired will automatically create categories in your ShopWired account based on this information.
You can then either edit the categories one-by-one within your ShopWired account to add any missing information (such as images, descriptions, SEO tags, or to edit the page URLs) or use the category import/export system to edit them in bulk.

BigCartel only provides a feature to export product data in :
- To obtain your JSON export, in your browser navigate to
https://www.yourbigcarteldomain.com/products.jsonand save the file to your device's hard drive - Use an online tool such as csvjson.com to convert the JSON file to a CSV file and download that file to your device's hard drive
Once you have the CSV file containing your product data, you will need to modify the data to ShopWired's required format.

BigCartel does not provide a feature for exporting customer data. However, you can export orders from BigCartel and extract customer-related data (ensure that you remove any duplicates). You can then follow the guidance for migrating customer data.
