EKM
ShopWired has several migration systems available for you to easily migrate data from EKM to ShopWired:
- Migrate category data
- Migrate product data
- Migrate customer data
Each of these migration systems allows you to download an export of the data from your EKM account and upload the same file (without making any changes) into your ShopWired account. ShopWired will automatically recognise the EKM format and copy the data across.
To use the migration systems, ensure that you select the Migrating from EKM onboarding track.

Whilst the migration systems automatically migrate data across for you, you'll still need to use the other help guides in this migration section and in the getting started section to successfully complete your migration and get your website ready to launch on ShopWired.
Migrating category data
Migrating category data
To migrate your category data from EKM to ShopWired:
- Obtain an export of your category data from within your EKM account
- Select all available fields in the EKM export
- Select to export the data as a CSV file
- Follow EKM's help guide or contact EKM support for assistance
- Once you've obtained the export, navigate to Get Started > EKM and select the Import your categories from EKM tab
- Upload the EKM category export into the import file setting and select
upload & process import
If you have a large number of categories on EKM, the import may take some time to complete.

To migrate your product data from EKM to ShopWired:
- Obtain an export of your product data from within your EKM account
- Select all available fields in the EKM export
- Select to export the data as a CSV file
- Follow EKM's help guide or contact EKM support for assistance
- Once you've obtained the export, navigate to Get Started > EKM and select the Import your products from EKM tab
- Upload the EKM product export into the import file setting and select
upload & process import
If you have a large number of products on EKM, the import may take some time to complete.

When migrating customer data, ShopWired recommends reading our help guides about customer passwords and order data.
To migrate your customer data from EKM to ShopWired:
- Obtain an export of your customer data from within your EKM account
- Select all available fields in the EKM export
- Select to export the data as a CSV file
- Contact EKM support for assistance if required
- Once you've obtained the export, navigate to Get Started > EKM and select the Import your customers from EKM tab
- Upload the EKM customer export into the import file setting and select
upload & process import
If you have a large number of customers on EKM, the import may take some time to complete.
