BigCommerce
ShopWired has several migration systems available for you to easily migrate data from BigCommerce to ShopWired:
- Migrate product data
- Migrate customer data
Each of these migration systems allows you to download an export of the data from your BigCommerce account and upload the same file (without making any changes) into your ShopWired account. ShopWired will automatically recognise the BigCommerce format and copy the data across.
To use the migration systems, ensure that you select the Migrating from BigCommerce onboarding track.

Migrating category data
Migrating category data
BigCommerce does not provide a separate export feature for categories, and so you can't automatically migrate all of your category data from BigCommerce into ShopWired.
However, BigCommerce does include certain information about categories in the product export. ShopWired will automatically create categories in your ShopWired account based on this information.
You can then either edit the categories one-by-one, within your ShopWired account, to add any missing information (such as images, descriptions, SEO tags, or to edit the page URLs) or use the category import/export system to edit them in bulk.

To migrate your product data from BigCommerce to ShopWired:
- Obtain an export of your product data from within your BigCommerce account (make sure to use the Legacy Product Import/Export feature)
- Select all available fields in the BigCommerce export
- Select to export the data as a CSV file
- Follow BigCommerce's help guide or contact BigCommerce support for assistance
- Once you've obtained the export, navigate to Get Started > BigCommerce and select the Import your products from BigCommerce tab
- Upload the BigCommerce product export into the import file setting and select
upload & process import
If you have a large number of products on BigCommerce, the import may take some time to complete.

To migrate your customer data from BigCommerce to ShopWired:
- Obtain an export of your customer data from within your BigCommerce account
- Select all available fields in the BigCommerce export
- Select to export the data as a CSV file
- Follow BigCommerce's help guide or contact BigCommerce support for assistance
- Once you've obtained the export, navigate to Get Started > BigCommerce and select the Import your customers from BigCommerce tab
- Upload the BigCommerce customer export into the import file setting and select
upload & process import
