The theme editor
You can use the theme editor to customise the design and functionality of your theme to suit your business.
Within the theme editor you can:
- Preview your theme with the changes you apply (without affecting the live theme)
- As long as you don't save your changes
- Make changes to various settings that determine:
- Content that displays on your website
- How certain features on your website work
- Whether certain available features are active
- Add, remove or rearrange content
- Available for Version 5 themes
The theme editor works using the settings that are defined in the theme files. If the theme editor doesn't include options for the changes you want to make, you can edit your theme code or contact theme support. Read more.

Version 4 themes
Version 4 themes
If you are using a Version 4 or earlier theme version, all of the available settings for all pages are contained in the theme editor, irrespective of the page you are currently viewing in the live preview.
The range of customisation options in Version 4 themes is much less than in Version 5 themes, and Version 4 themes do not use ShopWired's section & block feature that allows you to customise the content on website pages.
If you're currently using a Version 4 or earlier theme, ShopWired recommends upgrading to a Version 5 theme. Contact theme support for assistance in moving to a Version 5 theme.
