Colour settings

Colour settings are split into two main categories:

• Global colour settings are a group of colours that have been chosen to reflect a theme's overall colour design. You can change the global colour on a theme, and the change will affect all instances of that particular colour where it appears on the theme
• Individual colour settings are individual settings for all coloured elements, placed into groups, depending on where on your theme the colour is used
• For example, the product page colour group will contain individual colour settings for the theme's product page

When customising the colours on your theme, you can use the global colours setting to customise your theme's overall colour design and use individual colour settings to tweak it.

Global colours are presented when selecting the Colours section in your theme's settings.

To change a global colour, select the new colour from the colour picker or enter a new hexadecimal colour reference.

Individual colour settings are grouped together. Colour setting groups appear beneath the global colours.

To change the colour settings within a group, select the group and deselect the use global theme colours option - this will provide you with access to customise each colour setting.

When deselecting the use global theme colours setting, all colour settings within the group will no longer use the corresponding global colours.

To change a colour setting, select the new colour from the colour picker or enter a new hexadecimal colour reference.
