Third party platforms
Third-party platforms are external tools, services, or marketplaces that work alongside your ecommerce website to expand functionality, streamline operations, or enhance customer engagement. They aren't part of your core ecommerce platform but integrate with it to offer additional capabilities.
Some common examples of third-party platforms are:
- Google (all of the various services that Google offers)
- Marketplaces like eBay and Etsy
- Advertising and marketing platforms like Facebook Ads and Google AdWords
- Shipping and fulfilment platforms like Royal Mail and ShipStation
- Accounting and financial tools like Xero and QuickBooks
- Customer engagement platforms like Trustpilot and Feefo
ShopWired integrations
ShopWired integrations
ShopWired integrates with various third-party platforms to facilitate the automatic flow of data between your ShopWired account and the platform.
Most of the integrations ShopWired offers with these platforms are in the form of apps that you install into your ShopWired account. You can read more about apps here.
ShopWired support
ShopWired support
As part of your ShopWired subscription package, ShopWired does not offer support on third-party platforms - including Google. This means that you can't ask for ShopWired's help with things like:
- Setting up accounts or features with Google
- How to use a third-party platform
Instead, you'll need to contact that platform's support team directly.
If you're using a ShopWired app to connect your ShopWired account to an external platform, ShopWired support can help with:
- Configuring the app
- How to use the app (to ensure that data flows between both platforms correctly)
- Any problems, questions, or issues you have whilst using the app
If there's an issue affecting the availability of the app, it'll be posted on ShopWired's status page. ShopWired advises that you subscribe to the status pages of each third-party platform that you use.
